I've been a busy bee. I've been card making, cooking, been to see my councillor, had a minor job done onthe car and booked it in for it's MOT next week. And I am stalking my neice on Facebook - she still hasn't had the baby yet and is 7 days overdue. So as I am going to be working some long shifts during the next 2 weeks before I go on holiday, I have done these in preparation. The first card is a "Card Front" from the Clip Art Fairy, and I used a digital scrapbooking software package to put it together, along with some stickles, ribbon and a charm. The second card is made from Meljen's freebies, the ribbon and card is from my stash.
and here it is again (over the pond this time). As I said last time I don't really do Mothers Day since I lost my Mum, however I couldn't resist this digi stamp from Nana Vic over on the Crafters Digital Art Centre, and it was a FREEBIE. I coloured it using my promarkers and added a little sparkle with Ice Stickles.
over at Cupcake Craft Challenges. I've never done one before, and I have a few hours to myself (I've gotlots to do, but what the heck - its Bank Holiday Monday). Here is the candy you can win. You have until Sunday 8th May to enter,
Here is a quick card using one and MME Stella and Rose Papers. The card and brads are from my stash and the sentiment was computer generated using Word Art. I used Promarker to colour the image, using cocoa, cinnamon and sandstone for his hair.
next weekend and I have remembered to make a card. Over the past few years, either I have forgotten or Kev has forgotten and on a couple of occasions we have both forgotten until Christine has wished us a Happy Anniversary. This year our friends are having a party to celebrate their wedding in Sri Lanka, so the date is in our memories.
The image is a digi designed by Meljen and bought at Whimsy Stamps. I love digi stamps because you can use them straight away without having to wait for the Postie. I'm not sure where the flower came from, it is another digi from my rapidly growing collection (many of them freebies). The card is from my stash, and the greeting is computer generated straight onto the card.
I am married to Kevin and we have a beautiful daughter Christine, her partner Rob, Jamie our wonderful grandson and 3 fantastic step-grandchildren - Riah, Billy and Sam.
I have been crafting since I was a child, starting with knitting, sewing, baking and have tried most crafts. I currently love card making and scrapbooking, when I can find time to do them.
