Pages

Monday, 25 August 2014

Well I have done loads of Project Life pages since I last posted, I am not going to put them all on here, as some are quite personal.

I have also celebrated my birthday very quietly on 20 August, spending the day with Christine and Jamie, and the evening with Kev.  It was a lovely day.

So to my crafty stuff.

I think this is one of my favourite pages that I have completed recently. It is going in Jamies 1st year album.

Well I said that I was feeling crafty again.  I have just found out about Project Life and I think I prefer this form of scrapbooking more than the traditional form.  It doesn't mean that I won't doing any 12 x 12 layouts with embelishments any more, I may add the odd one into an album.  I can display more of my thousands of photos this way.

These are simple with no frilly bits (as Kev says), but I am quite please with my first attempt.

Wow, it is a long time since I came on here.  So much has happened in my life, but not a lot of crafty stuff.  Well watch this page, Yve is getting  crafty again so hopefully there will be a lot more activity in the very near future.

An old favourite

in our family is Peter Rabbit.  We read all the books to Christine when she was a little girl and it is the first set of books I  bought for Jamie when he was born.

So when I saw this challenge on Cupcake Inspirations I just had to use a Peter Rabbit image.

I have used First Edition Spring Drop papers.  The leaf pins are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the cardstock and ribbon are from my stash.

A New Baby Girl

My neighbours have just had a baby girl, and I have just popped in to see her.  Wow, I have never seen a baby with so much hair - it is really thick and black.  I suppose I am so used to blonde babies as we are all fair in our family.  What age to you have to be to stop feeling broody?
Here is the card I made for her.
I have used Pink Petticoat image and papers.
